HOW TO MAKE REFRIED BEANS

How to make creamy or also known as refried beans on the stovetop . Personally , I prefer to make my beans and low and slow is the way to go my friends . It takes about 3 hours this way but totally worth it .

Here’s what you’ll need to make great beans every time . If you’re wanting to not have as spicy beans then take out the seeds of the jalapeno or serranos . We are fans in my house of the heat so we keep them in .

INGREDIENTS :

3lbs beans of choice

1 tbsp avocado oil

4-6 small garlic cloves more if your a fan like myself

1 large white or yellow onion

2 jalapeños or Serrano for extra heat

1/2 bunch cilantro

1 tsp sea salt per lb of beans

Cook in pot on low for 3 hours until they are smooth and soft enjoy !

Add the beans to your blender and or use an immersion blender like I did until smooth add an extra dash about 1 tsp of avocado oil to it and have the heat on low to thicken them up .
