VEGAN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
One bowl Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies that come together with simple ingredients and perfect for when your wanting to treat yourself or others to a classic. Here’s what you will need to make them.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
2.5 tbsp water
1/2 cup vegan butter
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 1/4 vegan chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Preheat oven to 350F lint your. cookie sheets with silicone liner or just simply spray with cooking spray
2. Mix your ground flaxseed with water and set aside
3. Beat your room temperature butter until soft
4. Combine your butter and brown sugar then mix flax egg and vanilla
5. Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda and sea salt
6. Roll into small balls
7. Bake for 10 minutes for regular sized cookies less time for small bite sized cookies roughly 5 mins they will seem to be doughy but will firm up once they set on a cooling rack
8. The cookies will be fresh for up to 3 to 4 days room temperature
9. You can use this cookie dough as a base to other varieties such as adding in dried berries, walnuts , or you can add in 2 tbsp of peanut butter or 2 tbsp rolled oats. Happy baking!
