HIBISCUS WATER
Hibiscus water or known in the Mexican culture as Agua de jamaica is simple sweet and tart . You can make this quickly and with only three simple ingredients. Jamaica makes a great alternative to soda and it pairs well with your summer dish or your Mexican food .
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 bag hibiscus
5 cups water hot & cold
1-2 lemons or limes optional
1 cup vegan sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start taking half of your hibiscus flower bag and empty it into a mixing bowl.
2. Clean off the flowers with hot water until it’s covered.
3.Let it steep for 10 minutes and you can use that water for hibiscus water.
4. Add your steeped hot water mixture into a pitcher and add in 3 cups cold water. Add more if you need to.
5.Add in vegan sugar of choice and add in your ice cubes taste and add more sugar or water if needed
