TOFU CEVICHE
Tofu Ceviche is a mix of the Asian flavors that I love and admire and also some of the basics to a Peruvian ceviche but made without fish or shrimp. This recipe came to me and I am happy to report that it was simple and delicious enough for me to share it with you all. Hope you will have an open mind to it give it a go!
INGREDIENTS:
the bamboo chef seasoning
1/2 bunch cilantro
1 box extra firm tofu pressed
2 jalapenos
3 limes
nori sheets
3 roma tomatoes
sea salt
roasted sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start by draining out the water of the extra firm tofu in the sink
2. Tap the tofu with a kitchen towel or paper towel
3. Use tofu press to get the access water out of the tofu
4. Get the tofu out of the tofu press and place on a cutting board and slice into cubes or you can simply pull it apart
5. Place tofu inside a mixing bowl and add the fresh limes over the tofu and toss and coat
6. Add sea salt, roasted sesame seeds and the bamboo chef seasonings and coat the tofu
7. Cut up the tomatoes, jalapenos, and cilantro and add to your bowl.
8. Enjoy and pair with fresh nori sheets.
