ROASTED SALSA VERDE
Roasted Salsa Verde comes together with only seven ingredients and yields you 40 oz of salsa with fresh tortilla chips, tacos and more!
INGREDIENTS:
6 tomatillos
5 garlic cloves
1 white onion
4 jalapenos
2 medium limes
1/2 bunch cilantro
sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start by cleaning of cilantro, jalapenos and removing the husk off the tomatillos
2. Cut white onion in half and remove the first layer of the onion and toss
3. Remove the skin from the 5 garlic cloves
4. Place cast iron skillet or tortillas pan and place it on a medium heat
5. Add all the veggies to the skillet or pan and let them slowly char
6. Skin should appear to be black and soft to the touch
7. Once all ingredients are char add to your blender then add in your limes
8. Blend until smooth and enjoy with your favorite burrito, chips or tacos
